The Parent Zone is for you. It has various sections giving lots of information about the school and activities, how you can support your child’s learning and where to go to get support for you and your family.
If there is something that you are looking for and cannot find, please contact the school and we will be happy to help.
Below are some comments from parents about the school and their child’s education. Ofsted have an online questionnaire called Parent View that allows parents and carers to give their views about their child’s school at any time of the year.
You can give your views about John Chilton School by going to www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk

The pupils learn better and succeed when the school and parents work together in a partnership. We welcome parent participation in the life of the school, for example: helping in a club, talking to a group of pupils about their work or experiences, supporting practical sessions like cooking.
We run a variety of coffee mornings and workshops across the year (check out the calendar and newsletters); to support you in helping your child at home with their learning and to give important information about different stages in their lives, such as transition to adulthood.
Your involvement in these activities is hugely valuable. If you feel you can spend some time volunteering at the school, please contact Mrs Tsangacos (volunteer coordinator). You might be asked to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service form as part of our safeguarding procedures.
