In March we hosted a coffee morning that drew a fantastic turnout of parents, carers and school staff in a welcoming environment. The workshop focus was Ealing SEN Transport, to support families with essential transport-related information.
The workshop was Tanya Murray, Operations Manager from Ealing SEN Transport, and Anne-Marie Kelly, Senior Travel Assessor, offered parents valuable guidance on how to apply for transport services, understanding eligibility criteria, and arranging transport for young people transitioning from school to college.
We were also joined by Danielle Regev, the Children’s Commissioner, who contributed additional insights and shared news about an upcoming collaboration with other organizations supporting children with special needs.
Parents engaged actively, fostering meaningful discussions and exchanging valuable experiences. This collaborative atmosphere encouraged open dialogue and enhanced understanding of the transport support available during key transition periods.
The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, allowing parents to interact directly with the presenters for tailored advice.
