Hello, my name is Iona Bullard, and I am a teacher and Curriculum Lead at John Chilton School. I work alongside supportive adults across the school, collaborating to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
In October 2024, I took on the role of Equality and Diversity Lead across the whole school, and I’m excited to be part of the school’s continued journey toward fostering an inclusive and positive environment for all.
As we move forward, the school is taking important steps to enhance our commitment to equality and inclusion. The school cluster peer review report beautifully captures our efforts:

We continue to explore diversity and equality by analysing and adapting our curriculum, engaging in staff discussions and training, and organising whole-school events. These efforts help us commemorate diversity and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
