John Chilton School has Safeguarding and Child Protection systems in place so that we can support parents and carers with any safeguarding issues when they arise. This includes ensuring the school is a safe environment with clear policies, training staff to identify students who might need additional support or protection and linking students and their families to relevant support services. This includes areas such well being, internet safety, school attendance issues and housing.
Students and families can face a variety of difficulties in these challenging times which can impact on a child’s education and overall wellbeing. Please remember that you are not alone and we have access to a variety of support services and professionals that can help you overcome some difficulties that you might face.
