On Wednesday, 11 October, the secondary pupils of JCS Bengarth Site were treated to a smile-inducing pantomime of Robin Hood, by M+M Productions.

Pupils were enthralled by the performance, full of drama and laughs. There were elements of maths, Makaton and music.

Some of the pupils’ reviews:

I liked the dancing and when Robin Hood and Maid Marian were holding hands. – Sarina

I liked that the sheriff got punished at the end. I also liked when Robin Hood shot the arrow into the bullseye. – Haider

Robin Hood was my favourite and the man with the moustache [the sheriff] was so funny. Maid Marian was so funny when she said, “You’re not fair, Father.” It was so fun and funny for me. -Ilias

I loved when the Sheriff kept hitting Hogwarth. – Ajay

It was so funny. I liked the part when Robin Hood did the crossbow with the magic. – Arman

I like the acting and it was enjoyable. – Hamdi

This event was especial as Happy Days Charity sponsored the entire production for John Chilton School students to enjoy. We are grateful for their support and providing unique opportunities for our young people.
