P4 Red 2 have embarked on a new venture – washing cars of staff at John Chilton School. They have even brought their services from Bengarth Site to the Orchard Site, to ensure no one misses out.
Currently, their introductory price is £5 for both interior and exterior or £2.50 for just one service. The prices may raise soon as the pupils have gained experience. There is even a waiting list of cars to be washed.
From a recent interview with the pupils involved on 2 December 2025:
Q: What is Rediwash?
A: It’s a car wash run by P4 Red 2. We do it for the staff.
Q: Who came up with the idea?
A: Mikael and Ms Johnston came up with the idea.
Q: What equipment and supplies do you use?
A: Car shampoo with wax, hose, hoover, jet wash, dry cloths, sponges
Q: What is the hardest part of the job?
A: Communication between each other to stick to a specific job role
Q: What is the best part of car washing?
A: Using the jet wash because it is fun. Also, getting the money. Seeing the satisfied customers.
Q: Whose was the dirtiest car to wash?
A: Mr Meech’s car!
Q: Whose car was the most fun to wash?
A: David’s car
Q: How do you see Rediwash growing in the future?
A: Keep believing in ourselves and keep delivering good service.
Q: What are you looking forward to using your profits on?
A: To go on class trips, maybe like Thorpe Park
