Snow White Pantomime

On Wednesday, 16 October, the secondary pupils of John Chilton School were treated to a laughter-filled pantomime of Snow White, by M+M Theatrical Productions.

Pupils were entertained by the thrilling performance, full of drama and laughs. There was a range of music, special effects and comedy. This year, a particular feature, was the digital mirror which impressed the pupils.

This performance was gratefully sponsored by Happy Days Charity for John Chilton School students to enjoy. We are thankful for their support and providing unique opportunities for our young people.

Some of the pupils’ reviews:

I liked the music. – Ryan

I liked when the queen kept hitting the jester. – Abdullah

There were a lot of memes and they made the fairytale appropriate for younger generations. – Przemyslaw

Some of the classes wrote a review of the pantomime. Below, please find Jisan’s review:

“I attended a Snow White pantomime today and I am writing a review about it.

The pantomime was held at the hall in our school. We sat down and watched the performers perform. The storyline was really creative and I really liked that they added some songs that are popular for the younger generation. It was really inclusive because in one of the songs they did Makaton. I also really liked the lights because they were bright and colourful. The performers accommodated our school because at one point a student went on the stage and just sat there. He wouldn’t budge so the actors carried on and acted as if nothing happened. There was also another student who went on the stage a few times and the performers engaged with that student and sat her down.

Overall I really enjoyed the pantomime and I hope to have another pantomime at our school.”
