On Friday, 7 March 2025 John Chilton School celebrated World Book Day. This year we looked at Traditional Tales, reading stories from different countries and cultures around the world. Pupils and school staff were encouraged to dress up in traditional costumes or a character from their favourite book. All around the school, classes explored activities related to the stories they were reading.
We also did a ‘teacher swap’ where teachers went to different classes around the school to read their favourite book. This is always enjoyed by teachers and the pupils.
As always World Book Day was a great success.
